A factory spray-in bedliner also is available for 2011 on all models, providing extra protection when transporting material and power folding mirrors are shared with the Ram 1500′s big brother, the Ram HD. Additionally, the Ram 1500 is available with a new navigation system with Garmin technology.

South Carolina Dodge Ram 1500 dealers Dodgeland of Columbia announce that brand-new 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 models have just arrived at the dealership’s showroom. South Carolina Dodge truck fans will love the updates for 2011, which include a new trim level, new colors and new navigation system.

The 2011 Ram 1500 will be available as a Regular Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab Pickup and will be available in X trims- ST, SLT, Outdoorsman, which is the new trim, Sport and Laramie.

The 1500 is powered by three engine options. A 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, a 4.7-liter V-8, and a 3.7-liter Magnum V-6 engine that is standard on two-wheel-drive Ram 1500 Regular Cab and Quad Cab models.

Light-duty crew cab Ram models have the optional first-in-segment RamBox, which provides additional storage outside of the cabin. The box is large enough to hold a set of golf clubs and shoes- or five cases of 12-oz. beverages. Hunters and fishers can store two guns or six fishing rods in an additional RamBox Holder. The RamBox keeps its contents safe in the weatherproof, lockable compartments.

The new trim level will be loved by hunter, fishermen, campers, boaters and other outdoor enthusiasts. South Carolina Dodge drivers who choose the Outdoorsman will be driving a truck with all they every wanted in their adventure mobile, as the Ram Outdoorsman takes all the features useful for adventurers and puts it into one truck that puts all the convenience, off-roading capabilities and hardware together.

Dodge Ram drivers will often forget that they are driving a highly capable pickup truck with all the available features on the truck. Options include heated front seats, heated rear seats in the Ram Crew, heated steering wheel, one-touch up and down driver and passenger windows, automatic-on headlamps and a first-in-segment 506-watt surround-sound audio system.

The new navigation system available is a Uconnect^® Multimedia and Uconnect^® Navigation system that includes real-time traffic information, handsfree communication and abilities to save and play back music and audio. A second-row overhead DVD screen is available on the Quad Cab and Crew Cab.

The Electronic Vehicle Information Center, which is standard on all models except the ST, – includes compass heading, temperature, average fuel economy, odometer, distance-to-empty fuel tank and tire pressure monitor and available driver-programmable features.
